The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Babu wants to clinch.
Donowitz misses with a wild body shot.

Babu rushes Donowitz and presses him up against the cage.

Babu gets through Donowitz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Donowitz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Babu lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Babu pushes Donowitz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Babu drops Donowitz onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Donowitz is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Donowitz is rocked!
That has opened up Donny Donowitz's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Babu pushes Donowitz against the cage. Babu is working some dirty boxing. Babu pushes off with a quick right hook! Donowitz goes down! Donowitz tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Babu moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Babu!
