And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Whittaker.
Iwamizawa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Whittaker finds it's way round the side to connect with Iwamizawa's head.
Whittaker connects with a jab.
Iwamizawa avoids the head kick by Whittaker.
Whittaker swinging wilding here.
Nice straight punches there by Whittaker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Whittaker.
Iwamizawa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Whittaker tries a head kick but it misses.
Whittaker throws a body punch but Iwamizawa moves out of range.
Whittaker misses with a wild combination.
Whittaker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Iwamizawa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Iwamizawa throws a half hearted mid kick.
Iwamizawa tries to clinch there but Whittaker circles away.
Iwamizawa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iwamizawa is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Iwamizawa has hold of Whittaker's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Whittaker seems comfortable defending it but Iwamizawa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Whittaker is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Whittaker is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Iwamizawa couldn't care less - he's delighted!
