Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Chong Starbowski (ranked 4330 p4p, 427 weight class) and Juan Fonseca (ranked 3557 p4p, 388 weight class). Starbowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Traditional Thai Music . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starbowski lands a head kick that bluckles Fonseca and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Starbowski no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Juan Fonseca has been cut.
Starbowski throws a head kick but Fonseca moves out of range.

Juan Fonseca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fonseca clips Starbowski with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Starbowski a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
OH! Starbowski has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Fonseca smells blood and charges in for the finish! Fonseca unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Starbowski sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
