Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stojan Kostic (ranked 1134 p4p, 35 weight class) and Ake Bono (ranked 1719 p4p, 79 weight class). Kostic comes to the cage accompanied by Skabo - Mare batice. Ake Bono has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bono slaps away a takedown attempt from Kostic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kostic throws a leg kick
and Bono decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kostic's guard.
Kostic keeping moving, preventing Bono from controlling successfully.
Kostic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bono is aware though and is defending well.
Kostic has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bono has passed into side control.
Kostic is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bono tries to advance to mount but can't.
Kostic is not content to let Bono control the position.
Kostic is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Bono tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kostic's legs.
Kostic gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kostic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bono is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kostic wants to get back to full guard.
Bono is thwarting Kostic's attempts to control the position.
Kostic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bono tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kostic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kostic is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kostic is working hard here to advance position.
Kostic trying to control but Bono postures up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bono wants to free his trapped foot but Kostic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kostic manages to get to full guard.

Kostic trying to keep a closed guard but Bono is proving a slippery customer.
Kostic throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kostic pulls Bono in close to prevent any damage.
Kostic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bono can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bono won't allow Kostic to sweep him here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bono is posturing up here but Kostic has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bono tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bono has to tap! Slick submission there by Kostic!
