The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards blocks a head kick by Green.
Green shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Richards fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Green takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Richards darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Green manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Richards keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Green shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Richards counters with a takedown into side control.
Green tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richards. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Green shoots for a takedown but Richards saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Green looks to move away, Richards throws a big counter combo but Green just gets out of the way.

Green tries to close the distance and clinch but Richards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Richards manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Green manages to get himself to full guard.

Richards keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Green's head.

Richards shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Green pushes Richards off but Richards dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Green tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Richards defends well and Green ends up having to push Richards into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Green is looking to clinch but Richards is avoiding it.

and Richards counters with a stiff right hand.

Richards shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Green wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Richards manages to pass to side control.
Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Richards is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Green sees it coming and defends easily.
Richards will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Richards shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Green napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Richards can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Green is looking to escape.

Reed Richards showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Richards has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
