The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mode catches Cameron with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Elton Cameron has been cut.

Mode clinches with his opponent.
Cameron tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cameron tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mode avoids it.
Cameron stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A bit of stalling here from Mode.
Cameron taking a breather.
Mode blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mode wants the takedown. Cameron is fighting it off but Mode persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cameron's guard against the cage.
Mode is looking to stand up but Cameron won't let him.
Mode wants to control from the top but Cameron keeps moving.

Cameron looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mode trying to control the position from guard on top but Cameron is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cameron looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Mode got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cameron has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mode has managed to get both his arms back between Cameron's legs - danger averted.
Mode slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Mode drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mode stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cameron walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mode.
Cameron is breathing heavily.
Cameron finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Mode's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Cameron falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
