Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winslow Berhardt (ranked 2554 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiremu Huia (ranked 2420 p4p, 0 weight class). Huia has chosen Poi E - Patea Maori Club as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Berhardt.
Berhardt catches Huia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

You can see the frustration on Berhardt's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Berhardt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Berhardt has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Huia has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Huia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Huia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berhardt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Huia has managed to get both his arms back between Berhardt's legs - danger averted.

Huia rolls with it to try and escape but Berhardt cranks on the arm and Huia is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
