PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Tremblay (ranked 22084 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Clancy (ranked 3677 p4p, 0 weight class). Clancy has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevor Tremblay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordon Clancy!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy slips under a jab.
Clancy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Clancy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tremblay defends it nicely.

Tremblay forces Clancy back against the cage and clinches.

Tremblay throws a series of punches but Clancy avoids them all with ease.

Tremblay has closed the distance and engaged Clancy in a clinch.

Tremblay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Clancy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tremblay's waist but Tremblay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clancy off to one side.
Tremblay really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tremblay tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Clancy cranks the arm and Tremblay screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tremblay, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
