Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Shotguntoter (ranked 6453 p4p, 464 weight class) and Karl Denke (ranked 6560 p4p, 470 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karl Denke!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denke tests Shotguntoter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shotguntoter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Denke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shotguntoter.
Shotguntoter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Denke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shotguntoter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Denke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shotguntoter appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Denke scores with a jab to the body.
Shotguntoter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Denke counters with a straight right hand.
Denke connects with a right hand. Shotguntoter shakes it off.
Denke misses with a few strikes there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Denke lands with an uppercut that bounces Shotguntoter off the cage and back into range.
Shotguntoter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Denke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh Shotguntoter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Denke has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hank Shotguntoter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shotguntoter shoots in but Denke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Denke let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Shotguntoter seems to have got his legs back now.
Shotguntoter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Denke lands a big right hand that sends Shotguntoter crashing to the mat! Denke stays standing though and waves Shotguntoter back to his feet!
Denke slaps away a takedown attempt from Shotguntoter, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Shotguntoter changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Denke lands a jab to Shotguntoter's midsection.
Good exchange - Denke coming out on top.
Karl Denke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shotguntoter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Denke circles away.
A little jabbing left from Denke on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Shotguntoter is breathing heavily.

Denke fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Denke throws a series of punches but Shotguntoter avoids them all with ease.
Shotguntoter drops down looking for a counter takedown but Denke sprawls and moves away.
Shotguntoter shoots in looking for a takedown. Denke tries to sprawl out of it but Shotguntoter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Denke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Denke cracks Shotguntoter with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shotguntoter looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Denke finish him?
Shotguntoter walks straight into a right hand from Denke - that's dropped him! Denke jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Shotguntoter from any more punishment! Shotguntoter complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
