PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Corll (ranked 615 p4p, 90 weight class) and Luke Jackson (ranked 654 p4p, 94 weight class). Corll comes into the arena with Candyman blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Corll misses with an uppercut.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jackson! But no joy.
Corll uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Good shot there by Jackson.
Corll fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Corll bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jackson's head.

It looks like Luke Jackson has been cut.
Corll looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.
Corll lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Corll's hands.
Corll takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Corll misses with a combination
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.

Corll is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A cross from Jackson lands.
Oh Corll is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson drops Corll with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jackson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
