Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Fjeld (ranked 2948 p4p, 116 weight class) and Shawn Griffin (ranked 4079 p4p, 89 weight class). Fjeld's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Little Big - Big Dick. Griffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Medicate - Flaw kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shawn Griffin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

20 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magnus Fjeld!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjeld shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Griffin flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffin trying to control but Fjeld postures up.
Griffin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Griffin.
Griffin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Griffin striking off his back but it's not causing Fjeld any problems.
Griffin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Griffin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fjeld stands and steps away. Griffin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Magnus Fjeld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fjeld scores with a jab.
Griffin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Fjeld bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Griffin moves out of range of the body kick.

Griffin fails to land with a series of punches.
Fjeld slips a jab and a cross from Griffin.
Griffin misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Griffin throws a right and a left that Fjeld avoids nicely.
Fjeld throws a hook to the side of Griffin's head but Griffin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Griffin looking to score a takedown here. Fjeld is defending well but Griffin drives through and ends up in Fjeld's guard.
Fjeld will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fjeld wants to stand and escape but Griffin is having none of it.
Griffin cracks Fjeld with a solid left hand.
Griffin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Griffin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Griffin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Griffin scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fjeld is rocked!
Griffin lands a couple of digs.
Oh Fjeld is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Griffin arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Fjeld's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Shawn Griffin!
