Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Balder Bull (ranked 3950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takuya Sakamoto (ranked 4193 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Balder Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takuya Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull misses with a double jab.

Bull connects with a nice looking jab.
Sakamoto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bull defends it nicely.
Sakamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bull's waist but Bull gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sakamoto off to one side.
Bull appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bull tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sakamoto was well out of range. Poor timing from Bull.

and Bull counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Balder Bull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takuya Sakamoto.
Bull goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Sakamoto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Sakamoto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bull is fending him off so far but Sakamoto persists. Nope, Bull circles away and we're back to standing.
Bull swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sakamoto.

Bull throws an overhand right that lands on Sakamoto's shoulder, as Sakamoto tries to avoid the shot.
Sakamoto blocks a jab.
Sakamoto shoots in but Bull avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Balder Bull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bull scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Takuya Sakamoto has been cut.

Bull lands a big uppercut and Sakamoto crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sakamoto looks OK. Bull waves Sakamoto back to his feet!

Bull cracks Sakamoto with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sakamoto looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bull finish him?
A shot to the liver by Bull. Beautiful body shot.
Bull definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bull connects with a combination that backs up Sakamoto into the cage. Bull lands a flurry of punches that gets past Sakamoto's guard. Sakamoto is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bull bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balder Bull!
After winning the bout, Balder Bull thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
