With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jo Jo Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pepper ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pepper no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Pepper is looking to clinch but Mccray is avoiding it.
Pepper walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mccray checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pepper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mccray swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pepper wants to clinch.
It looked like Mccray was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pepper.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Mccray throws a sloppy head kick and Pepper moves out of range easily.
Mccray ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pepper moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jo Jo Pepper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pepper jumps guard but Mccray stands there with Pepper around his waist. Pepper gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pepper is posturing up here but Mccray has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pepper tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pepper has to tap! Slick submission there by Mccray!
