The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavender lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hawking circles away quickly and effectively.
Stephen Hawking seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hawking tried to counter with a leg kick but Cavender avoided it.

Hawking throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cavender fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hawking fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cavender has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hawking throws a hook to the side of Cavender's head but Cavender sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hawking feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cavender's calf.
Cavender throws a right hand that Hawking ducks under and follows up with a left that Hawking also avoids with ease.
Hawking is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cavender.
Cavender unleashes a big counter combination but Hawking bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Cavender lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cavender.

Hawking is looking to slow Cavender down with leg kicks.

Hawking lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cavender throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hawking motions for Cavender to come forward. Hawking throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Cavender lands a big head kick that sends Hawking tumbling to the mat! Cavender takes a step backwards and waves Hawking back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cavender throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Hawking is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It's a brutal combination of punches from Cavender! Hawking is backing up but he can't get away as Cavender lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Hawking and ends the fight. Great knockout.
