The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen fails with the takedown.
Ronny Sizemore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parantainen misses with a low kick.
Sizemore tries to clinch but Parantainen moves out of range.
Parantainen misses with a takedown attempt - Sizemore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sizemore moves in looking to clinch but Parantainen pushes him off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sizemore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parantainen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Parantainen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sizemore.

Parantainen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sizemore as he avoids it easily.
Ronny Sizemore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaakko Parantainen.

The fighters circle, before Sizemore throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Parantainen's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Sizemore lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
