Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Castro (ranked 5017 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Edison (ranked 4659 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edison looking to score a takedown here. Castro is defending well but Edison drives through and ends up in Castro's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castro manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Castro gets control of Edison's arms and successfully pulls guard. Castro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Castro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Edison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Edison decides to stand back up. Edison steps back and let's Castro get back to his feet.

Edison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Edison tries to stand and escape but Castro is controlling the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Castro is on top in guard.

Castro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Edison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Castro's guard.

Castro is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
