Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Poohs (ranked 3320 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finko Naikkorine (ranked 24091 p4p, 378 weight class). Naikkorine has chosen Mexico - The Dead Daisies as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Finko Naikkorine!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poohs tries to sprawl but Naikkorine drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Poohs regains full guard. Nicely done.
Poohs has his foot on Naikkorine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Naikkorine works his way back into a safe position though.
Poohs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Naikkorine defends well.
Poohs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Naikkorine defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naikkorine looking to sit in guard and control but Poohs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Poohs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Poohs wants to stand but Naikkorine has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Poohs wants to control from the top but Naikkorine keeps moving.
Naikkorine looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Poohs passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Poohs is looking for a kimura but Naikkorine is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Poohs to get the leverage.
Poohs is working for a submission of some sort.
Poohs tries to stand and escape but Naikkorine is controlling the position.
Poohs in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Naikkorine tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Poohs!
