Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Thiago!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dresden fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thiago avoids it really well and circles away.
Thiago cracks Dresden with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A punch combination from Dresden misses.
Dresden fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dresden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thiago circles away quickly and effectively.
Thiago lands with an uppercut that bounces Dresden off the cage and back into range.
Dresden shoots in but Thiago avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dresden in particular looking to stall.
Thiago felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dresden wants to advance to full mount but Thiago doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Dresden throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dresden controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dresden throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thiago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice defenses there by Thiago.
Dresden closes the distance and clinches up with Thiago, looking for a takedown. Dresden pushes Thiago against the cage but Thiago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thiago swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dresden.

Thiago walks into a straight right hand from Dresden.
Dresden shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thiago manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Dresden wants to control from the top but Thiago keeps moving.
Thiago is pulling down on Dresden's head. It's preventing any offense from Dresden, at least for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dresden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dresden crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thiago - the referee stops the clock and Dresden gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thiago. Dresden manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dresden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Thiago tries to roll over but Dresden keeps him under control.

That's time! Dresden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thiago stuffs the takedown attempt from Dresden. Dresden gets slowly back to his feet.
Dresden dives in and scores a takedown into Thiago's guard.

Dresden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Thiago is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dresden drives through with a takedown into Thiago's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Thiago raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Dresden looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dresden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thiago pinned against the cage. Thiago gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thiago stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thiago wants it to stay on the feet.
A little jabbing left from Thiago on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Thiago lands the left hand.
Dresden tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Thiago defends well and Dresden ends up having to push Thiago into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thiago drops Dresden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dresden looks back up at him and smiles so Thiago waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dresden is rocked!
Thiago lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lakoj Dresden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thiago thumps Dresden with a low kick.
Dresden tries to clinch there but Thiago circles away.
Thiago cracks a nice hook into Dresden's ribs.
Dresden fails with the takedown
and Thiago counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Thiago lands a big right hand that sends Dresden crashing to the mat! Thiago stays standing though and waves Dresden back to his feet!
Oh Dresden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thiago throws an overhand right that drops Dresden like a sack of potatoes! Thiago dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Thiago!
After winning the bout, Thiago Thiago thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
