Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazy Bastard (ranked 2091 p4p, 241 weight class) and Scott Watt (ranked 1879 p4p, 218 weight class). Watt has chosen Edmund Fitzgerald as his entrance music. Lazy Bastard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Scott Watt's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard throws a big shot that misses.

Watt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bastard did well to prevent Watt getting side control.

Bastard kicks off Watt and gets to his feet.
Bastard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Watt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bastard moves away.

Lazy Bastard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bastard looks to land a combination but Watt avoids it well.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bastard darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bastard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Watt manages to avoid it.
Watt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bastard under the eye.

Watt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Watt working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bastard is trying to get back to half guard.

Bastard is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Bastard is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rabid Dog that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Watt throws a strike aimed at the side of Bastard's head but Bastard avoids it well.

Bastard sneaks out the side door and pushes Watt away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Watt throws a nice looking combination but Bastard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Watt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Watt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Watt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Watt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bastard's guard.

Bastard has his feet on Watt's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Watt lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Bastard moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bastard takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lazy Bastard will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bastard lands a left and a right that send Watt crashing to the mat, dazed. Bastard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Watt is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
and Bastard counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Watt! He's just covering up as Bastard starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
