Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akseli Hammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammar comes into the arena with Matti ja Teppo - Näitä Polkuja Tallaan blaring out of the sound system. Paul Atreides has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Akseli Hammar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Atreides!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atreides tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hammar swivels and escapes.
Atreides closes the distance and clinches up with Hammar, looking for a takedown. Atreides pushes Hammar against the cage but Hammar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Atreides tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hammar throws a nice looking combination but Atreides bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hammar keeps the fight on the outside.
Hammar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hammar lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Paul Atreides has been cut.
Hammar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hammar just misses with a punch to the body.
Hammar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Atreides doesn't seem bothered though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Atreides fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hammar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Atreides tries to clinch but Hammar is having none of it.
A slow jab from Atreides misses its intended target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hammar throws a series of punches but Atreides moves out of range.
Atreides tries to clinch up but Hammar circles away and keeps his distance.
Hammar misses with a straight left.
Hammar lands with a shot to the body.
Atreides looks gassed!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hammar, as that shot connected.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hammar and sends Atreides crashing to the mat! Hammar follows him down to the mat - Atreides regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Atreides is rocked!
Hammar trying to mount his opponent but Atreides defends it.
Atreides has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hammar is working away from the top position though.

Hammar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Atreides sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammar wants to pass to mount but Atreides is defending the position.
Atreides moves into full guard.
Hammar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hammar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hammar stopping the sweep attempt from Atreides.
Atreides is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Atreides lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hammar!
Hammar is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Atreides wants to control the pace but Hammar is squirming around nicely.
Atreides punishing his opponent with strikes.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hammar is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Atreides looking to isolate an arm here. Hammar doesn't see it coming and as Atreides extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Atreides!
