And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bracken looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
De Souza wants to get back to his feet but Bracken is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

De Souza is working an open guard so Bracken takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Bracken 's head but he takes it in his stride.
De Souza checks a leg kick.
A clash of legs there as De Souza blocks the low kick.
De Souza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
De Souza cracks Bracken with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bracken tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Souza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and De Souza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bracken is looking to land body kicks.
It looked like De Souza wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Donk. De Souza catches Bracken right on the button with a cross.
Bracken with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling De Souza to score with a decent uppercut.
Bracken has his takedown stuffed
and De Souza counters with a nice uppercut.
De Souza lands a head shot.
Bracken walks into a jab.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bracken is defended easily by De Souza.
Juan De Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sol Bracken.
De Souza uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Juan De Souza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and De Souza counters with a series of strikes. Bracken will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bracken tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Souza paws at him with a jab and circles away.

De Souza scores with a jab. Bracken acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
De Souza scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bracken misses with an uppercut
and De Souza counters with a straight right hand.
Bracken finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
De Souza is looking for a counter combo.
De Souza dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
De Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bracken.
Bracken wants to clinch but De Souza slips to the side
and De Souza counters with a stiff right hand.

and De Souza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bracken shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and De Souza counters with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De Souza works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Bracken is rocked!

Bracken is still on wobbly legs! Can De Souza finish him?
De Souza comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bracken seems to have recovered his senses.
Bracken is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

De Souza lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bracken throws a left and a right that both miss
and De Souza counters with a stiff right hand.
De Souza fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bracken to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bracken looks to clinch but De Souza throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bracken taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
