PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Slaughter (ranked 3691 p4p, 350 weight class) and Wooden Pencil (ranked 2116 p4p, 251 weight class). Slaughter comes into the arena with Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter - Iron Maiden blaring out of the sound system. Pencil has chosen Full Retard as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Slaughter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wooden Pencil!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pencil cracks Slaughter with an open hand slap.
Horrible takedown attempt by Slaughter or perhaps it was just good defense by Pencil, which made it look bad.
Pencil with a hook.

Slaughter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pencil to the ground. Slaughter is now in Pencil's guard.
Pencil is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slaughter is controlling him.
Slaughter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pencil is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slaughter's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Slaughter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pencil, up you get!
Pencil scores with a head kick. Slaughter tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Pencil rushes Slaughter with punches - Slaughter moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Slaughter goes down! Pencil follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
