The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thunder closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hyde's guard.

Hyde uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Thunder misses with a leg kick

and Hyde counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Thunder !
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hyde stands up.

Thunder scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hyde trying his best to control but Thunder has mounted him.
Hyde working to try and regain half guard.
Thunder sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Thunder landing strikes from the mount.

It looks like Toney Hyde has been cut.
Hyde sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyde tries to get to full guard but Thunder has control of the leg.
Hyde really is a fat lump.

Thunder stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hyde to get to his feet.
Hyde gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Thunder gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hyde is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
