The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Lesnar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lesnar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Winnfield.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Winnfield shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Winnfield paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Not Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Winnfield shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by Winnfield.

Lesnar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lesnar goes for a double leg but Winnfield avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Winnfield continues to drive forward.
Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Winnfield, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Winnfield against the cage but Winnfield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Winnfield! But no joy.

Winnfield has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Winnfield has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Winnfield sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Winnfield sends Lesnar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Winnfield is motioning to the referee to let Lesnar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Lesnar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Winnfield might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Winnfield throws a pinpoint strike between Lesnar's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Lesnar crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Winnfield scores a great knockout victory!
