The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but Rutter shows good takedown defense.
Cooper shoots for a takedown but Rutter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cooper ducks under a wild hook from Rutter.
Cooper moves out of range as Rutter strikes.
Cooper slips a jab and a cross from Rutter.

Steven Rutter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooper feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rutter's calf.
Rutter throws a hook to the side of Cooper's head but Cooper sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cooper moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Cooper shoots in for a double leg but Rutter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cooper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Cooper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rutter's guard.
Rutter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rutter drops Cooper with a naaaaasty hook - Cooper is in real trouble here! Rutter dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
