Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Number 1. Daniel Jones has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ronaldo Gonya's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Jones!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
It looked like Gonya wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gonya as he jumps to the side.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gonya defends it nicely.
Gonya looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Nice takedown defense from Gonya. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Ronaldo Gonya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Jones.
Gonya digs a good body shot into Jones's ribs.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones misses with a combination
letting Gonya counter with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Daniel Jones has been cut.
Jones looks winded!
Gonya throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gonya stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Gonya gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage.
Gonya cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gonya throws a nice head kick!
Jones walks into a jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gonya.

Jones is rocked!
Jones wants to stay close but Gonya steps back to make room for something. Jones seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Gonya and Jones drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
