Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Cabounete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cabounete shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams stands up and waves to Cabounete to follow him.

Maurice Cabounete's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Williams connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Cabounete to the floor! Williams dives in looking for the finish!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cabounete drops his hands momentarily and Williams needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Cabounete just on the top of the head. Cabounete drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Cabounete - he's done!
