Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patty Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Macku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson comes to the ring accompanied by The Faint - Hospital. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macku scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Macku escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Patterson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Patterson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Patterson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Macku is fending him off so far but Patterson persists. Nope, Macku circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Patterson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Macku knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Macku is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Patterson gets his way!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Patterson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Macku's body.
