The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dondo shoots for a takedown but Uzmanbekhov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dondo tries to clinch up but Uzmanbekhov circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice sprawl there from Uzmanbekhov as Dondo shoots in.
Dondo is looking to clinch.
Dondo throws a right and a left that Uzmanbekhov avoids nicely.
Dondo wants to clinch up but Uzmanbekhov keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dondo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Uzmanbekhov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Uzmanbekhov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dondo, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uzmanbekhov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dondo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Uzmanbekhov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dondo is trying to escape and Uzmanbekhov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dondo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Uzmanbekhov! Very nice indeed!
