Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yacob Nilsen (ranked 237 p4p, 32 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 452 p4p, 66 weight class). Nilsen comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Right above it. Orochi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: RISE - I Prevail. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orochi ducks under a wild hook from Nilsen.
Nilsen moves away from the strike by Orochi.

Orochi moves forwards but Nilsen connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Orochi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nilsen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nilsen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nilsen throws the left hand but Orochi avoids the punch easily.

Orochi misses with a hook. Nilsen ducked under it nicely.
A big left from Orochi misses.
Orochi throws a body shot but no joy.
Orochi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Orochi lands a right hook to the body.
Nilsen throws a body punch but Orochi moves out of range.

Orochi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nilsen manages to avoid it.
Nilsen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nilsen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Orochi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It seemed like Orochi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Nilsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Orochi looks to throw the jab but Nilsen is out of range.
Orochi lands with a hook. Nilsen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A combination from Nilsen does no damage.
Nilsen tries to move into range but Orochi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Orochi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nilsen.
Orochi digs a good body shot into Nilsen's ribs.
Orochi misses with an uppercut.

Orochi cracks Nilsen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Orochi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nilsen to stand back up!

Nilsen is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orochi slips a straight right by Nilsen.
BOOM! Orochi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nilsen. Nilsen tries to recover but Orochi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nilsen lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doppo Orochi!
A less than humble Doppo Orochi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
