Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Callus sprawls well initially but Harper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Callus wants to get back to his feet.
Harper is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Harper is nestled in close to Callus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Callus pushes Harper off looking to stand but Harper dives back in and keeps control.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Callus enables Harper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Callus manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Harper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Callus did well to prevent Harper getting side control.

Callus has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Harper is on him like a limpet, forcing Callus back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harper tries to pull guard but Callus won't allow it.
Harper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Callus after a bit of a struggle.

Callus manages to break the clinch.
Harper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Callus defends well and Harper ends up having to push Callus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Callus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
