Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Blake Wightman (ranked 14622 p4p, 555 weight class) and Juan Fonseca (ranked 3780 p4p, 402 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wightman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fonseca moves away.
Wightman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fonseca throws out the jab.

Wightman loads up on a big right hand but Fonseca slips the punch.
Fonseca clobbers Wightman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Fonseca cracks a nice hook into Wightman's ribs.

A little jabbing left from Fonseca on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Fonseca throws a leg kick which misses Wightman's front leg but catches the back leg as Wightman tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wightman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fonseca has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fonseca lands with a hook. Wightman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wightman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Fonseca cracks Wightman with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Wightman get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Wightman looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Wightman walks into a big right hand from Fonseca and goes down! The referee sends Fonseca to a neutral corner as Wightman gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Fonseca engages and cracks Wightman with a massive lead left hook - Wightman tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Fonseca is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Blake Wightman spoke after the fight, saying 'He was a great fighter I just hope that he doesn't befall some unlucky accident with a shoebox!'.
