The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotomayor looks to land a combination but Jetatikarn avoids it well.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jetatikarn tries a head kick but it misses.
Jetatikarn lands a head kick that bluckles Sotomayor and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Jetatikarn no doubt looking to push for a finish!
It looks like Exar Sotomayor has been cut.
Sotomayor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jetatikarn.
Sotomayor throws a right and a left that Jetatikarn avoids nicely.
Jetatikarn lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sotomayor takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sotomayor is rocked!
Sotomayor drops his hands momentarily and Jetatikarn needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Sotomayor just on the top of the head. Sotomayor drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Sotomayor - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Santichai Jetatikarn!
Santichai Jetatikarn got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
