Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asmir Zslevski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asmir Zslevski!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Thiago lands but Zslevski takes it in his stride.
Zslevski shoots in but Thiago avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thiago has his takedown stuffed

and Zslevski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thiago's guard now.
Thiago wants to control the position but Zslevski says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Thiago could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Zslevski seems to be looking for submissions.
Zslevski passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thiago is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Zslevski has taken his back.

Zslevski looking to break Thiago's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Thiago remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Zslevski will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Zslevski sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Thiago taps out!
