The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thorn throws a big shot that misses.
Gray keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thorn.
Gray looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Thorn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Thorn is trying to trip Gray. He has hold of a leg but Gray is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thorn persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Thorn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gray keeps working.
Gray dodges the ground and pound from Thorn.
Thorn throwing strikes but Gray manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Thorn wants to get back to his feet but Gray drags him back down.

That was a close round but I would say that Damien Thorn will probably get the nod.
