The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jahr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Erlend Jahr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polo scores with a nice right hand.
Jahr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Polo sprawls well. Polo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jahr gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jahr slips a jab from Polo.
Jahr changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jahr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marco Polo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erlend Jahr.
Polo throws a looping overhand right but Jahr ducks down to avoid it.

Jahr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jahr showed some decent athleticism there.

Jahr is working for a submission of some sort.
Polo is looking for a sweep. Jahr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jahr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Polo sees it coming and defends easily.
Jahr moves into full mount! Polo won't be happy about that!
Polo is trying to escape the mount but Jahr keeps good control and instead manages to take Polo's back.

Jahr controls the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jahr working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Polo is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Jahr has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Polo taps out!

Erlend Jahr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
