Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Daniel (ranked 24900 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Two (ranked 6418 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Two is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Theodore Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Two!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Two gets a double leg takedown into Daniel's guard.
Two trying to stand up but can't free himself from Daniel's guard.
Two's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Daniel is trying to keep Two in close.
Two is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Two got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Two has managed to get both his arms back between Daniel's legs - danger averted.
Two not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Daniel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Two gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Two is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Two looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Daniel!
Two tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Two stands up.
Daniel walks into a stiff left hand from Two.


It looks like Theodore Daniel has been cut.
Daniel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Two pinned against the cage. Two gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Two feints and as Daniel raises his hands in defense, Two changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Two sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Daniel wants to control but Two passes easily into half guard.
Two perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Two is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Two frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Two looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Two has hold of Daniel's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Daniel manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Two wants to finish this one by submission but Daniel is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Two.
Two with good strikes from the mount here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Two sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Two decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Daniel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Daniel tries to get to full guard but Two has control of the leg.
Two has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Two stalling.
Two lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Two works his foot free and advances to mount.
Daniel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Two looking to control and managing it successfully.
Daniel can't escape the position.
Two sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Two swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Daniel is now in Two's guard. A big mistake from Two there, giving up the dominant position!
Daniel postures up in Two's guard and throws a big left but Two blocks it.

Two is trying to control the position but Daniel postures up.
Two is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Two lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Daniel wants to get back to his feet.
Daniel wants to control but Two passes into side.
Two is staying tight to Daniel's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daniel is not content to let Two control the position.
Two wants to stand but Daniel has his arm trapped.
You can see the frustration on Daniel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Two is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Daniel has escaped the position, nice work there.

Two scores with punches from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Two showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Two misses with a leg kick

and Daniel counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Two!
Two is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Two wants to get back to his feet but Daniel drags him back down.
Two is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Daniel swings around for an armbar but Two sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Daniel's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Two controls from within his opponent's guard.

Two working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Two tries to stand but Daniel is controlling from the bottom.
Two stays in close to Daniel's body and controls the position.
Two wanted to stand there but Daniel had control of the position.
Two working some strikes from top position.
Two stands up over Daniel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Two trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Two passes Daniel's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Two tries to stand and escape but Daniel is controlling the position.
Daniel is trying to control but can't.
Two seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Two sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Daniel wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Two in particular looking to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Two's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Two drives through with a takedown into guard.
Two wants to pass the guard but Daniel is keeping the position.
Two missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Two works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Two is looking for a kimura here.
Two takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daniel is looking to control Two's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daniel avoid being mounted?
Two with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Daniel looking for submissions off his back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Two passes the guard and advances to mount!
Theodore Daniel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jake Two is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Two. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Two pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jake Two comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Two has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
