Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oskar Forsberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harrison.
Harrison tries for a takedown but Forsberg sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Forsberg throws a right hand that Harrison ducks under and follows up with a left that Harrison also avoids with ease.
Harrison fails to land the takedown.
Oskar Forsberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshall Harrison.
Harrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Forsberg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harrison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Forsberg is fending him off so far but Harrison persists. Nope, Forsberg circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Harrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Forsberg which made him look bad.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Forsberg wants to clinch up but Harrison keeps it at a distance.
Harrison tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forsberg swivels and escapes.

Forsberg closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Forsberg has Harrison pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Forsberg pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Harrison tumbling to the mat - Forsberg dives into Harrison's guard.
Forsberg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Harrison is working an open guard so Forsberg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Harrison throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Forsberg counters with a three punch combo that has Harrison backing up. Harrison nods at Forsberg to acknowledge the strikes.

Forsberg tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Forsberg counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Forsberg is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harrison gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Forsberg scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Forsberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Harrison pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Harrison drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Forsberg manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Harrison has Forsberg in his guard.

Harrison is looking for a triangle but Forsberg pushes his legs off easily.

Harrison had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Forsberg is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Harrison Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Forsberg's back instead.

Harrison is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Forsberg has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Harrison goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Forsberg escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Harrison is looking to get back to full guard here but Forsberg has managed to pass to side control instead.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harrison tries to improve his position but instead Forsberg has taken his back!
Harrison rolls, trying to escape but Forsberg keeps control of the position.
Forsberg is trying to stick to Harrison's back but Harrison is turning into Forsberg. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Forsberg's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Harrison.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harrison drops back, looking for a kneebar! Forsberg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Forsberg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Forsberg!

Forsberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harrison keeps working.

Harrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Forsberg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Harrison looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Harrison has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Forsberg is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Harrison.

Marshall Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Oskar Forsberg is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Forsberg has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
