Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fatty McFatty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fatty McFatty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Still!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFatty throws a left that rocks Still and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McFatty dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Still regain composure!


It looks like Matt Still has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McFatty trying to control the action but Still is working from the bottom.
McFatty knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Still on the ground.
Still manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Still wants to get back to full guard.
Still moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
McFatty won't allow Still to sweep him here.
Still is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Still had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McFatty is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Still Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McFatty's back instead.
Still is not going to allow McFatty to sit and survive in this position.

McFatty is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Still is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Still scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. McFatty is looking for a way out.

Still is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Still has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McFatty has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Still's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
McFatty rolls, trying to escape but Still keeps control of the position.

Still has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McFatty has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Still is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Still gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Still gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Still apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McFatty misses with a two punch combination.
Still fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Still throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McFatty lands a left and a right that sends Still crashing to the canvas! McFatty dives into mount looking to finish!

McFatty lands a big shot there that rocks Still but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Still is working to get back to half guard.
BOOM! McFatty connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Still is wriggling around trying to escape.
Still is squirming around, avoiding McFatty's attempts to control the action.

McFatty has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Still's face.

A right-left combo lands from McFatty.
McFatty stuffs the takedown attempt from Still. Still gets slowly back to his feet.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting McFatty here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
McFatty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Still misses the shot to the body.

McFatty scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McFatty lands a nice short elbow.

McFatty tries to reverse the position but Still maintains control.

Still throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! McFatty has his hands clasped together but Still breaks the hold and McFatty is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Still!
