Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French shoots in looking for a takedown. Kasane tries to sprawl out of it but French keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kasane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kasane lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

French stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kasane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
French not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

French shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kasane pinned against the cage. Kasane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

French throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kasane's waist but Kasane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing French off to one side.

French shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
French will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kasane lands a head kick!

Kasane moves into the clinch.
French managing to block the knees to the body from Kasane.
French goes for a takedown attempt but Kasane pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

French shoots for a double leg takedown but Kasane sprawls well. He's pushed French's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

French closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - French lands in his opponent's guard.
French slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
French takes a little break here. Kasane wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

French works to advance to full mount. Kasane defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

A close second round but Franky French will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

French looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kasane!
French is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Kasane is in real trouble.
French just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

French's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

French swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

French changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kasane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
French remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
