The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar throws an off balance right hand
and Saxton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Angel Escobar has been cut.
Escobar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Saxton sprawls well initially but Escobar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Well, if Escobar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saxton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Escobar is working away from the top position though.
Escobar maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Saxton could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Escobar has cracked it and Saxton is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Escobar!
