The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kekkonen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salomanca was covering up waiting for the punch and Kekkonen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kekkonen postures up and lands a big shot to Salomanca's brow.
Salomanca bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kekkonen's guard.

Kekkonen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kekkonen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kekkonen is on top in guard.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kekkonen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Salomanca can't hide his disappointment, as Kekkonen celebrates the victory.
