The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaesa wants to clinch up but Mooney keeps it at a distance.

Kaesa turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kaesa manages to end up in side control.

Mooney sneaks out the side door and pushes Kaesa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kaesa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mooney sprawls well initially but Kaesa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mooney has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kaesa is on him like a limpet, forcing Mooney back against the cage.
