The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Colt shoots in and drives through. Cook sprawls well.
Cook throws a right and a left that Colt avoids nicely.
Cook throws a series of punches but Colt moves out of range.
Colt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Colt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Colt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Cook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Colt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cook's waist but Cook gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Colt off to one side.

Colt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cook is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Colt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cook is looking to get back to his feet here but Colt is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cook's back.
Cook wants to get back to his feet.

Colt is persistently looking for the submission but Cook is defending it well.

Colt has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Cook is in real trouble here. Colt gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Cook is tapping out! Colt wins by rear naked choke!
