Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giuseppe Mcintosh (ranked 24348 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Kaspen (ranked 4614 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giuseppe Mcintosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anton Kaspen!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaspen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mcintosh.


It looks like Giuseppe Mcintosh has been cut.
Mcintosh swats away the attempt to clinch by Kaspen.
Mcintosh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Kaspen throws a leg kick
and Mcintosh counters with a two punch combo.
Mcintosh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kaspen scores with a takedown into Mcintosh's guard.
Kaspen showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Kaspen wants to control from the top but Mcintosh keeps moving.
Kaspen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Mcintosh keeping full guard, as Kaspen tries to pass.
Mcintosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaspen scoring with some ground and pound.
Kaspen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mcintosh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kaspen trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcintosh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mcintosh really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Kaspen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kaspen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcintosh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A quick step to the side and Mcintosh tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kaspen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mcintosh is pulling down on Kaspen's head. It's preventing any offense from Kaspen, at least for the moment.
Kaspen looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintosh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kaspen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kaspen looking for a sweep. Not yet Kaspen, not yet.

Kaspen working for a triangle but Mcintosh defends it easily.
Kaspen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kaspen pulls Mcintosh in close to prevent any damage.
Mcintosh postures up.

Kaspen working for submissions but it's allowed Mcintosh to get to half guard.
Kaspen is looking to control Mcintosh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kaspen avoid being mounted?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kaspen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kaspen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mcintosh.
Kaspen tries to clinch there but Mcintosh circles away.

Kaspen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kaspen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaspen wants to free his trapped foot but Mcintosh is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kaspen tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mcintosh.
Mcintosh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kaspen controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Kaspen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kaspen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kaspen is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kaspen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaspen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kaspen uses his free foot to push down on Mcintosh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcintosh.
Kaspen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kaspen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kaspen trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mcintosh is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kaspen with the ground and pound from mount.
Mcintosh is squirming around, avoiding Kaspen's attempts to control the action.
Anton Kaspen has got the better of the ground game so far.

Kaspen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Kaspen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mcintosh looks a forlorn figure.

Kaspen stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Kaspen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mcintosh regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kaspen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mcintosh instigates a clinch.
Mcintosh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kaspen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mcintosh tries a body shot but Kaspen blocks it.

Kaspen wants the takedown. Mcintosh is fighting it off but Kaspen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcintosh's guard against the cage.

Kaspen stands and throws Mcintosh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kaspen trying to control the position but Mcintosh is working away.
Kaspen looking to control but instead Mcintosh has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Mcintosh is not content to let Kaspen control the position.
Kaspen sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Kaspen passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kaspen with shots to the head and body - Mcintosh looks very uncomfortable down there.

Kaspen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mcintosh turns into him and now he's in Kaspen's guard.
Kaspen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mcintosh is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kaspen throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mcintosh uses it to pass to side control.
Kaspen is looking to reverse the position.
Kaspen can't do much from the bottom here.
Kaspen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kaspen is not content to let Mcintosh control the position.
Kaspen manages to get to full guard.
Kaspen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Giuseppe Mcintosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Anton Kaspen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Kaspen.

I've got Kaspen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
