Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Randal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacksson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Randal throws a head kick that Jacksson semi-blocks.
Jacksson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jacksson shoots in but Randal avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jacksson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Randal tries to avoid it but Jacksson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Randal to the ground. Randal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Randal moves into the clinch.
Jacksson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Randal gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jacksson.

Jacksson is trying to drag Randal to the mat but Randal just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Randal feints and as Jacksson raises his hands in defense, Randal changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Randal keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jacksson's head.

Jacksson has his feet on Randal's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Horrible takedown by Randal or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacksson which made him look bad.

Randal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jacksson's head backwards.
Randal throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Randal counters with a leg kick.
Randal lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
