Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fury (ranked 1704 p4p, 207 weight class) and Marco Giambi (ranked 21147 p4p, 492 weight class). Giambi has chosen Mortal Kombat theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fury throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Giambi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Giambi tries to throw a body punch but Fury avoids it by throwing Giambi back against the cage.

Fury pushes off an throws an elbow but Giambi leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Fury struggles to land a body shot inside as Giambi controls his hands.

Fury manages to break the clinch.

Giambi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fury lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fury avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Giambi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fury scores with a head kick. Giambi tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Giambi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A punch lands to the side of Giambi 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Giambi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fury.

Fury does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That kick from Fury tenderised Giambi's leg. Giambi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fury is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Giambi can do to turn this around?

Giambi's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Fury lands a big uppercut and Giambi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Giambi looks OK. Fury waves Giambi back to his feet!
Giambi is still on wobbly legs! Can Fury finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fury circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Giambi tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Fury wins by KO!

In his post fight interview, Nick Fury started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
