The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roscoe lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Powers backs up against the cage.

It looks like Powers has been cut.

Roscoe shoots in and gets a takedown into Powers's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Powers manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Powers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Powers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Powers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Roscoe walks away with a smile on his face. Powers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roscoe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Powers under the eye.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Roscoe instigates a clinch.

Roscoe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roscoe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Powers wants to get up but he can't break Roscoe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Roscoe closes the distance and pushes Powers back into the cage.
Powers is trying to drag Roscoe to the mat but Roscoe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Powers has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roscoe uses from the top position.
Powers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Powers tries to pull guard but Roscoe holds him up against the cage and eventually Powers drops back down to his feet.

Powers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roscoe backwards.

Roscoe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Powers defends well and Roscoe ends up having to push Powers into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Powers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Powers wants it to stay on the feet.

Powers drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roscoe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Roscoe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Powers tries to avoid it but Roscoe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Powers to the ground. Powers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Roscoe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Powers after a bit of a struggle.

Powers stands up and beckons Roscoe to his feet.

Darrel Roscoe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roscoe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
