Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Moser (ranked 2099 p4p, 248 weight class) and Valeriy Karpin (ranked 3177 p4p, 329 weight class). Valeriy Karpin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpin lands a nice looking body shot.

Moser thows a left - swing and a miss!
Despite the aggression on Karpin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

No joy there for Karpin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Moser is looking to counter punch.
Karpin looks to land a combination but Moser avoids it well.

An attempted straight right counter from Moser misses the target.
Karpin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Karpin throws a jab but it's blocked by Moser.
Karpin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moser looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

and Moser counters with a huge right that knocks Karpin out cold! Moser is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Brian Moser decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
