Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lynn Barrett (ranked 24881 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyotr Povetkin (ranked 4439 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyotr Povetkin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Barrett enables Povetkin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barrett manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Barrett wants to sweep here but Povetkin controlling him for the moment.
Barrett is looking for a triangle but Povetkin pushes his legs off easily.

Povetkin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Barrett stacks Povetkin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Barrett!

Povetkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barrett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pyotr Povetkin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Barrett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Barrett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Povetkin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Povetkin scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Barrett is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Povetkin can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
